About Maplecode
Senior engineers who take ownership of the work most teams route around — legacy migration, data correctness, and the release risk that comes with both. We build systems your own engineers can run without us.
What we are
Maplecode is an engineering firm. We design, build and modernize enterprise software — AI systems, cloud platforms, data pipelines, and the unglamorous integration work that decides whether any of it holds up in production.
We are a young company staffed by engineers who are not. Most of our team has spent a decade or more inside regulated industries — banking, healthcare, public sector — where a bad release is an incident report rather than a rollback. That is the experience we sell. We would rather you judge it from how precisely we discuss your problem than from a number on a slide.
How we work
Senior people on the actual work
The engineers in your architecture review are the engineers writing the code. No pyramid where experienced staff win the work and juniors deliver it.
Scoped honestly, including the parts we would skip
We say which pieces of a proposal we think are not worth funding. A smaller engagement that works is better business for us than a large one that disappoints.
Reversible increments
Work ships in slices that can be rolled back. You get something usable before the programme ends, and a wrong decision costs a sprint.
Handover as a deliverable
Runbooks, rehearsed on-call, and your engineers owning parts of the build from the start. If leaving us would strand you, we designed it wrong.
Your code, your infrastructure, your accounts
We work in your repositories and your cloud accounts. Nothing important lives somewhere only we can reach.
Where we are
We operate from the United States, the UK, the UAE, Canada and Australia, which covers US, European, Gulf and Asia-Pacific business hours between them. Teams work in your timezone for the parts that need it — design reviews, incidents, cut-over nights — rather than asking you to meet ours.
Keep exploring.
Let's build what's next.
Tell us where you are and where you want to be. We'll bring the engineering, the AI, and the governance to get you there.
